Where are you at?

When I see clients, I measure where they’re at, on a continuum.

When you’re struggling, things often see black or white, good or bad, happy or sad.

How we feel about life is never that linear which is why it’s measured as a continuous line.

Mood and feelings are so fluid that they can change every hour.

I suspect that having just read that, most of you are telling yourselves that this is the reason why you don’t feel so great.

Change the focus of that thought; Even in the depths of depression, if you won millions on the lottery, for at least a few minutes, you’d feel happy.

If we agree that emotions and mood are fluid and rapidly changing, if gives hope that if you’re at the lower end of the continuum, there’s lots of chances every day to move out of that zone.
