Weebles wobble but the don’t fall down.

Those of you old enough to remember the weebles, will recognise the slogan….

weebles wobble but they don’t fall down”

I think this is a great way to deal with the (sometimes constant) body-blows that life deals us.

We’re all allowed a wobble from time to time; this may be a bit of a rant, a full-on meltdown, checking out for a while, or your own preferred version. This is a ‘normal’ and human reaction to stuff happening, that is often out of your control.

The important thing is this………

Always allow yourself a wobble, it’s a lot healthier to acknowledge stuff and then deal with it, rather than trying to battle on. Everyone has different coping strategies, and those of you who push forwards regardless feel that this is about strength; the problem with this style of coping is that you can only do it for so long.

Have your wobble and keep it within a boundary so you decide when you’re going to get going again. Remind yourself that a wobble is fine, but just like weebles, you quickly pop up again smiling, ready to get on with the day.
