In this 40 minute video I talk about tackling negative thoughts (overthinking); how to pick them up, put them in the dock and cross-examine them:
Then below the video you will find resources which accompany the video so you can put everything I talk about into action.
If you have any questions, please drop me an email: email@example.com
Watch the video then download the resources which accompany them below. It may be worth rewatching my video again when you start to complete the worksheets for yourself.
Firstly I have included a copy of the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) model for you, as you will hear me mention the cycle of thoughts, feelings and behaviour on several occasions. I find it can help to have a physical copy of this to hand so you can visualise the cycle you need to break, to be free of anxiety once and for all.
Worry scheduling is the first technique I talk about in the video, and here are the resources to help with this.
The second technique I run through in the video is ‘Overthinking’ . Here is the worksheet which includes some grounding techniques I recommend along with the ‘Six Ways to Practice Grounding’ Help Now card.
The final technique I talk through is about ‘Automatic Negative Thoughts’. Here is an information sheet about negative thoughts and how to replace them, along with a ‘Thought Record’ and a document which helps you question your negative thoughts.
I would love to hear how you get on with these resources. Please drop me an email, or send me a message through my social media.
